Here's a guide on how to monitor user calls on CallSwitch One.
Important Note:
To monitor user calls, you must have this feature enabled in the admin portal. If you need this feature enabled, email support@amicusnetworks.co.uk with your request. Include your extension and the extension you want to monitor, and specify if you need to Listen, Whisper, or Join. Definitions of these options are provided below.
Types of Call Monitoring:
1. Listen:
· You can listen to the user's call without either party hearing you.
2. Whisper:
· You can listen to the user's call and provide live training by whispering in their ear. The other party on the call cannot hear you.
3. Join:
· You can join the call so that both parties can hear you, similar to a conference call.
How to Use Call Monitor from Your Phone:
· Listen:
· Dial *31 followed by the user’s extension.
· Example: To listen to extension 300’s call, dial *31300 from your desk phone.
· Whisper:
· Dial *32 followed by the user’s extension.
· Example: To whisper to extension 300’s call, dial *32300 from your desk phone.
· Join:
· Dial *33 followed by the user’s extension.
· Example: To join extension 300’s call, dial *33300 from your desk phone.
